|JOAN COTTER, Ph.D., has a degree in electrical engineering, a Montessori diploma for ages 3-6, and a doctorate in mathematics education and early childhood from the University of Minnesota. Joan taught children ages 3-6, students with learning disabilities, and taught middle school mathematics. She worked with her own three children. Dr. Cotter wrote Math Card Games: Over 300 Games for Learning and Enjoying Math, and authored the RightStart™ Mathematics series. Dr. Cotter has spoken nationally in 31 states and internationally in four countries.|
